Our class from Saturday, April 30, 2016 was pretty good. 

Although I didn't participate, it's always a joy to watch our gang learn new techniques, practice old ones, and just "roll with it."

History of Kanokoshi Judo

Everyone has a story....

Some stories are better than others, but a story worth telling is worth telling through pictures.  Our club has a story too; below is our history.

Our fearless leader!  Probably this is the best "smile" you will ever see in any of his pictures.

Beginnings of Kanokoshi Judo in Highspire.  The ladies holding bingo downstairs probably didn't know what to think of all the commotion upstairs!

The club then moved to the Jewish Community Center on Front Street.  We held practice in one of the racquetball rooms. 

The next move was to Derry Street.  The landlord probably thought it was funny that a disabled bathroom stall and parking space had to be added in order to accommodate the occupancy laws.

Our current location, Fitness U, /Strawberry Square.
